on monday april 20 the police reported that an suv in the Largo area of Prince Georges county. about 9:00 pm sunday evening fire and rescue personnel confirmed that a 19 year old and a 7 year old wer killed after being hit by the suv.
THe 19 year old was Lareenta McFarland of Cheverly and the 7 year old was RIchard Young both of Largo. the car is a black Jeep cherokee. How the accident happened and where is currently under investigation. No one knows for sure if the children were in or out of the crosswalk or if the jeep tried to leave the scene.

Thursday morning a large forklift fell on a construction worker at the national naval medical center. it is not clear if this is only a workers compensatin matter or a 3rd party liability case. Both legs of the worker were crushed. Its almost certain his legs will be amputated.

Near Iamsville Mrs. Mendez lost control of her car. a silver spring woman was injured the other day at the bay bridge airport when she was struck by a wooden propeller. Cynthia L Connelly Ryan age 41 suffered a severe head injury.
